A complete engine strip with crankshaft rebuild was needed
This bike was sold when new in the Gloucestershire area in October 1964
Keith brought it back from Keighley, Yorkshire in September 2021 where the previous owner had been doing some restoration work over a 2 year period
Before that it had languished - neglected - on the Isle of Orkney
The bike needed a complete engine strip to sort out some issues, including having the crankshaft rebuilt by the genius that is Mr. Graham Curtis 😇 . Then there were gear selecting issues, which proved simple when the missing selector rollers were installed...
