WILTS BRANCH HEAD FOR SAMMY'S

Drone shot thanks to Keith Roberts

report by Dave Jolly

An overcast Sunday saw the following 9 x Wilts HOC members: Claire Jolly, "Jimmy" Young, Andrew Young, Sean Emery, Nick Carey, Haydn Carney, Devlyne Kidd, Gary Hemmings and myself ride out to Sammy Millers Motorcycle Museum in New Milton, Hampshire.

It was a 9am start at the car park of The Ram Pub in Tidworth with Jimmy, Andrew, Sean and Nick.  After brief hellos, we rode down to Countess Services on the A303 and met up with Haydn, Gary & Devlyne.

After a short brief from Jimmy and Sean confirming the drop-off system of marking turnings, the 125 cc friendly ride saw us heading south through Amesbury, on to Salisbury and then along the A338 towards Ringwood.

From there, Sean’s (‘green lane’) Sat nav led the motley crew into the New Forest along a particularly scenic and meandering route where we carefully bypassed numerous wild horses and crossed over several cattle grids.
