Pilot's Hub Cafe at  Redhill Aerodrome

Jon led us down some lovely country lanes, but we were taking it slow as the roads felt very greasy undertyre and there were potholes aplenty to try and avoid.

On arrival at the café, we waited patiently to be seated and after a bit of a flap on the part of the staff we were all in —well, 11 people is a job to seat at one time.

The service was prompt and efficient and the tea strong and hot. Breakfast soon followed and I must say the quality was excellent. The conversation flowed and plans for more events took place.

West London visit

 The Pilot's Hub Cafe

 at Redhill Aerodrome

On a cold and slightly murky morning,                  11 HOWLers and their bikes                                         (2 Blackbirds/2 cbf1000’s/1 Vespa/1 Hornet/1 NC750/1 Crosstourer/1 Africa Twin/1 Pan and 1 BMW ) met at Rykas for a short ride to the Pilots Hub Café at Redhill Aerodrome.

Several members were glad we had sorted a run as they were going stir crazy after all the awful weather had kept them off two wheels for a while and we do like to try and keep our members sane!

We're ready to set off as at last, the weather improves

Brian shows off his Vespa - great!

'Full English' and Tea please... x 11   !!

Sadly, however this is probably the last time we will visit as the Café is closing soon as Redhill Aerodrome want to redevelop the site.  They have tried to oppose it but have been unsuccessful.

So, all in all the HOWLers enjoyed a shortish ride, a good breakfast and an even better chat with great mates. That’s what the club is all about isn’t it?
